Worship Commission

The Worship Commission is responsible for all aspects of worship. They work to provide the volunteers needed for the Sunday worship services, to arrange special services (e.g. Christmas Eve, Lent), to ensure pulpit coverage, to provide and maintain necessary equipment (e.g. piano, sound system), and many other tasks. The Commission meets monthly at the church. Questions? Can't find what you're looking for? Need more information? Sunday Worship Volunteers

  • Greeters (2 or more) – Greet worshippers at the front door before worship begins.
  • Ushers (6) - Pass out bulletins and hymnals, help people find seats, collect the offering.
  • Acolytes (1 or 2) – light the candles on the altar at the start of worship.
  • Worship Leader
  • Children's Message
  • Communion Preparation
  • Provide treats for the fellowship time after the Sunday service.
  • Help set up for and clean up after fellowship time.

Other Worship Needs

  • Flowers – Provide flowers for the altar. Sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board in the coat room.
  • Banners - Help setting these up in the front area of the sanctuary.
  • Offering Counters (2) – Count the offerings after worship. To volunteer, contact Kathi Huenemann at huenemann@yahoo.com

 

Worship Sign Up

During the service each Sunday, several people are need for such tasks as ushering, greeting, or as worship leader. Can you do this?

Most Sundays we have a time of fellowship after the service. Coffee and a snack are available. Are you able to help provide the treats?

Sign up Today! Click on the Home Page, then on the Worship Tab, then on Sign Up. If you are not able to signup, please click on the Contact Me at the top of the webpage, or send an email to worship@plymouthpc.org

Wait until you receive an invitation in your email inbox. Then login using the email account that received the invitation and create a login password. Why? Having a password prevents others from going in to our signup list.
