Shake It Up Cafe - Where Kids Carry Out God's Recipe Registration Form here
With chef's hats and aprons, pots and pans, checkered tablecloths, and chalkboard menus, your kids will explore the Bible as a cookbook filled with recipes for living out God's Word.
This VBS will introduce kids to stories of biblical festivals that reveal ingredients (be ready for God's call, give happily to God and others, believe fully in Jesus as God's Son, remember Jesus' life and teachings, and celebrate God forever) and link the Old Testament and the New Testament to our lives today.
VBS will take place July 25-29 in the mornings, 9:00 a.m. to noon each day. If you are interested in being a part of the planning team, please contact us at christianformation@plymouthpc.org
Watch for more information in the coming months! If you are interested in having your child participate and/or are interesting in helping with the VBS program, please contact Christian Formation at:
christianformation@plymouthpc.org.
We are also looking for someone (or multiple people) to coordinate the VBS program this year with cooperation and support from the Christian Formation Commission. The responsibilities of the VBS Coordinator(s) include helping recruit volunteers and participants, providing ongoing communication about the VBS program, and overseeing the day to day operations during the week of the VBS program. If you are willing to act in this role, please contact Christian Formation at christianformation@plymouthpc.org.
Jesus calls us to “shake up” our lives and become his followers. The Bible gives us the recipe! Come for a week of exploring biblical festivals that reveal ingredients for linking the Old Testament, the New Testament, and our lives today.
If you are planning to attend VBS (even if you aren’t 100% certain), please let us know at christianformation@plymouthpc.org so that we can start gathering supplies. This helps us save money on supplies and reduces the cost for participants!
Vacation Bible School Needs YOU!
Without the commitment and leadership of many adult and youth volunteers each year, VBS is not possible. Thanks for your ongoing commitment and support to this ministry!
