About PPC's Christian Formation

Nursery

We believe that children can be both teachers and learners! A full Sunday morning educational ministry is provided for children from preschool age through 5th grade to help them explore Bible stories and discover spiritual truths. Classes meet throughout the church from 10:45 am to 11:45 a.m. Nursery care is provided on Sunday mornings for infants through age 4 during the worship service. We offer a safe, nurturing and positive environment for children in the nursery, from infant to Kindergarten.

Grades K-5

"And don't let anyone put you down because you're young. Teach believers with your life: by word, by demeanor, by love, by faith, by integrity." -1 Timothy 4:12 from The Message.

Middle School & High School

We encourage youth to develop and claim their faith, so we provide stimulating, relevant educational opportunities for youth in grades 6-12, on Sunday mornings from 10:45 am to 11:45 am.

Confirmation

Confirmation is usually for members in or around 9th grade. They meet once a week during the Education Hour. Each Confirmand is connected with a Mentor whom they meet with a few times during the year.

Adult Education

Adult education classes and forums are offered throughout the year. As we search for the implications and applications of our faith, typical topics covered include science and Christianity, local and global mission, church history, Christian ethics, and social justice. We meet in the church library from 10:45 am to 11:45 am.
